The College Football Playoff Committee may have gotten the Top 4 teams right, but that doesn't mean they are ranked correctly, which goes to game location, or that they got there in a deliberate method. But the fact that their Top 4 contains the same four teams in my ranking gives me a little faith in the final outcome of the new process. 

In my scenario, Florida State would host Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl while Alabama would travel to the Rose Bowl and host Oregon. Instead, Alabama hosts Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl while Oregon hosts Florida State in the Rose Bowl. A clear disadvantage to Florida State, the only undefeated team in the bracket.
